CAPAC Celebrates Holi, the Hindu Festival of Colors
Washington, D.C. – Yesterday, people in the United States and around the world celebrated Holi, the Hindu Festival of Colors to mark the beginning of spring. Members of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus (CAPAC) released the following statements:
Congresswoman Judy Chu (CA-27), CAPAC Chair:
“I join communities of all faiths in celebrating Holi. As we shake off winter’s chill and welcome the renewal of spring, the festival of colors provides an opportunity to rekindle old friendships and forgive past mistakes. I wish all those celebrating a safe and happy Holi!”

“I want to wish everyone a Happy Holi! This festival of colors and love celebrates the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, and the end of winter.
