CAPAC Members and House Democratic Leader Celebrate Holi

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Members of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus (CAPAC) released the following statements to celebrate the start of Holi, the South Asian holiday known as the Festival of Colors:

CAPAC Chair Rep. Judy Chu (CA-28):

“To the millions around the nation who are celebrating the Festival of Colors today– Happy Holi! May today’s vibrant festivities be filled with the joys of welcoming a new spring season together with community. May this occasion also bring new beginnings, hope, and happiness for all.”

House Democratic Leader Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (NY-08):

“Happy Holi to those celebrating the Festival of Colors in New York and around the world! May the arrival of spring bring joy, hope and prosperity to all.”
