CAPAC Welcomes New Associate Members Reps. Greg Stanton (AZ-04) and Luz Rivas (CA-29)
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus (CAPAC) welcomed Representatives Greg Stanton (AZ-04) and Luz Rivas (CA-29) as Associate Members, bringing the Caucus to a record-breaking 85 total Members of the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate.
“I am excited to announce CAPAC’s newest Associate Members Reps. Greg Stanton and Luz Rivas,” said Rep. Grace Meng, Chair of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus. “Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders (AANHPIs) represent the fastest growing racial group in our nation—including in states like California and Arizona—and they deserve to be treated as a priority. Representatives Stanton and Rivas will work to address the issues that matter most to our communities, such as lowering costs, fixing our broken health care system, reining in corruption, and ensuring our loved ones are safe and protected.”

Founded in 1994, the bicameral Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus is composed of 85 members of Congress who advocate on behalf of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities. The Caucus is led by Congresswoman Grace Meng, who was elected CAPAC Chair in 2024.
