CAPAC Welcomes Dr. DJ Patil as First White House U.S. Chief Data Scientist

Background
On February 18, 2015, the White House welcomed Dr. DJ Patil as the Deputy Chief Technology Officer for Data Policy and Chief Data Scientist within the White House Office of Science and Technology and Policy. In this role, Dr. Patil will oversee the U.S. policies and practices in technology and innovation.
