The Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus (CAPAC) is composed of 82 Members of Congress fighting on behalf of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians & Pacific Islanders (AANHPIs) across the country.
Due to a lapse in government funding, the federal government entered a shutdown at midnight on October 1, 2025. Chair Grace Meng issued the following statement in response to the Republican-made shutdown and health care crisis.
CAPAC hosted a press conference on the devastating impacts of President Trump’s tariffs on Asian American businesses and communities across the country.
