Washington, D.C. – Today, the House of Representatives passed H.R. 3973, Faithful Execution of the Law Act – the second of two bills that negatively impacts immigrant communities. This comes just one day after the passage of H.R. 4138, ENFORCE the Law Act of 2014. Both bills seek to strip President Barack Obama of his executive authority and enable the U.S. Congress to sue the President and other federal officials for the use of prosecutorial discretion.
